Synopsis

The 'Land Futures 'videos explore land histories and reform opportunities of five different land parcels in the Tyumen Valley/Catchment near Hogsback in the Eastern Cape. This 2019 video series is part of a larger land reform research process which includes the complimentary 2018 'Land Stories 'video series. The work is undertaken by the University of Fort Hare’s Hunterston Centre Heritage Hub and generously funded by NIHSS. All the videos have been made by Rhodes Journalism and Media Studies students.
